Language proficiency examinations have been organized in Poland since 2004. Their aim is to determine the general level of the Polish language competency and the level of mastery of each language skill.
All persons who have mastered Polish on an intermediate or upper-intermediate level and who want to receive a certificate which confirms their mastery of Polish as a foreign language are encouraged to take those official examinations. Nowadays the available examinations include: the Intermediate Level (B1), the Upper-intermediate Level (B2), and the Advanced Level (C2). The preparation of tests for the remaining levels are under way.
We organize special courses for students who plan to take the State Certification Exam of Polish as a Foreign Language. During those courses participants learn about the structure of the examination, about the techniques of taking the examination, they get acquainted with the types of exercises and tasks, they are presented with example language tests and they take mock examinations.
